10by10 – visualising writing

10by10

This is really interesting: 10×10. It is a visualisation of the top news stories (via RSS feeds) of the last hour.

Click on the pictures for links to more detail. Run your mouse over the words on the right of the mosaic.

Could be an interesting way for students to present assignments – by taking photos, writing about each one and presenting it something like this.
