Friday math movie: Artfully visualizing our humanity
This is a delightful video from artist Aaron Koblin.
We see some fabulous data visualizations of flight paths, cell phone data and some neat crowd-sourced images. There’s even some music involved.
Data visualization is an important 21st century skill. Our students should be developing an appreciation for – and the skills to interpret and evaluate – such interfaces.
Koblin’s key aim is to “explore how modern technology can make us more human.”
