Friday Math Movie – Zone Creep

Today’s movie is about the effects of global warming. Previously viable agricultural land can no longer support farmers in parts of the USA.

But don’t get too excited about the ‘opportunities’ they talk about here. The negatives from global warming are going to be far worse than the few positives.

Math behind this movie: mensuration, statistics, modeling using differential equations, and of course, algebra.
