Google UX (user experience)

Google prides itself on the user experience that they provide. Their interface is simple, uncluttered and mostly gives you what you want, extraordinarily quickly.

One of their engineers, Jen Fitzpatrick, talks about the history of the development of Google UX in this video.

My question: Why (seeing this is a video about user experience) is the quality of the video so bad? The camera angle is badly placed (so we see Fitzpatrick in silhouette, with unreadable Powerpoint slides behind her at an odd angle). C’mon, with Google’s multi-billion$, surely they can do better than that?
