Happy New Year
My hopes for 2006:
- Stability is established in Iraq. The US, Australia and others pull out.
- The Palestinians are given a timetable for establishment of their homeland.
- Koizumi improves ties with China and stops his Yasukuni visits
- North Koreans stop dying of starvation and Kim Jong Il realises (like China, Vietnam and the Soviets) that market and political reform are the only way forward.
- That trade protectionism is reduced, so the dirt poor have got a chance to get ahead.
Well, here’s hoping. Have a good year.
