Look Around You – Maths
This Friday’s math movie is a whacky British offering from the Look Around You series.
I like the opening title which uses the early 1980s BBC Microcomputer System. From Wikipedia’s article on the BBC Micro:
The BBC Microcomputer System was a series of microcomputers and associated peripherals designed and built by Acorn Computers Ltd for the BBC Computer Literacy Project operated by the British Broadcasting Corporation.
Other offerings in the Look Around You series: Computer Games, Germs, Music and Ghosts (all on YouTube).
Enjoy Module 1 – Maths.

That’s so funny…and bizarre!
In actual fact, it’s neither of these. The largest number is about 45 billion—although mathematicians suspect that there may be even larger numbers!
45,000,001?Priceless!
