Mood of the blogosphere
This is cool – a graphical view of bloggers’ moods for the last 48 hours: Moodteller, from University of Amsterdam.
It only applies to those using LiveJournal (there are currently about 2.5 million active LiveJournal users with 22500 posts per hour).
Most of the graphs have one peak per day and one trough – not surprising as most of us sleep once per 24 hours and the overall number of posts will decrease. A better set of graphs might be “% of posts containing word” and with a longer time scale (maybe per week) since it would be more meaningful.
