Neverending Math Equation

This week’s Friday math movie is a cover of a Modest Mouse song, Neverending Math Equation.

The lyrics are a bit never-ending, but here’s an excerpt:

Oh my god, I’ve gotta gotta gotta gotta move on
Where do you move when what you’re moving from
Is yourself?
The universe works on a math equation
That never even ever really even is any end
Infinity spirals out creation
Were on the tip of its tongue, and it is saying
We ain’t sure where you stand

The guitar work is respectable, and while the video implies some kind of spiral into infinity, it at least has a learning outcome:

I wish I shot better footage instead of thinking that if I recorded while riding my bike would be cool…yeah, but no,
live and learn.

Anyway, here’s Neverending Math Equation:

You can see a live Modest Mouse version here.

When I read this title, I thought it would be an infinite product but {it was a song!?}.
