well i believe that Cooper's 3rd option is the best for most schools. I have finished my high schooland is now starting my varsity years. I found that my high school years holidays at the end of the year beginning november till 3rd January is extremely long. This caused many returning students to lag behind even in the most simplest assignments.

>> "I cheated a little, though - I used GeoGebra to solve most questions in the final exercise: F.4 Drills."

Is it really cheating, Li-sa?

In the 'real world', don't we use the best tool available to get the job done quickest and most accurately?

The people who learn to properly use "external programs running on the same computer" will be the most productive at work.

I'm just dropping a thought.

I'm going to study in F.4 after the summer holidays.

The math holiday assignments were weekly exercises online. Not only does it contain drills on revision and learning the ABCs of F.4 math, but it features a professor's tips on solving HKCEE (Hong Kong Certified Education Examination, taken at the end of F.5) Math questions too. Besides a comprehensive revision, I learnt about variations by listening carefully to the professor's video which features the tips. (I cheated a little, though - I used GeoGebra to solve most questions in the final exercise: F.4 Drills.)

I hope more schools would participate in such ancillary activities. To play fair, the assignment websites/programs shouldn't allow external programs running on the same computer.
