Tools for making a math website

I received a mail from a reader asking about how I made the Interactive Mathematics site:

Your website is extremely well designed and quite a help for students to understand basic conceps. I came across it as I was searching for some information to assist my daughter with calculus.

I was planning a similar web site for physics. My request to you, if you can share, what tools you used to set up this web site.

I wrote a post a few years ago that pretty much answers the question: Producing mathematics for the Web.

Considering what I said in that article, I am still working on the forum idea. It needs to be different from the existing forums out there, otherwise, what’s the point?

Also, I talked about using MathML for math input on the web. It is still not in general use on browsers. Here are my reactions to the 2 options I have tried lately: jsMath and phpMathPublisher.

Good luck with your physics site!

I like the mathematics content available at http://www.intmath.com. I come to know about another website named http://www.educosoft.com providing online mathematics learning.

Anoop - your comment is a poorly disguised advertisement for your site. What’s this “I come to know about…”?

If you want to promote your site effectively, you’ll need to be more subtle.
