War on Plagiarism

It’s not clear whether the amount of plagiarism is increasing or just whether the detection of it is getting more sophisticated, but it certainly a large problem when high profile academics are being caught out doing it US war on plagiarism takes first UK scalp. The scandalous thing here is the only punishment for these academics appears to have been a slap on the wrist, while such behaviour from their students could result in failure or dismissal from the institution.
